Effective date: October 10, 2026. Last updated: October 10, 2026.
These terms explain the rules for using our website and client portal. Here are the main points:
Brudner Law, A Professional Law Corporation ("Brudner Law," "we," "us") is an immigration law firm at 6 Venture #385, Irvine, CA 92618.
These terms apply to:
By using our website or portal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. It is part of these terms.
We become your lawyers only when you and the firm sign a written fee agreement. Visiting our website, filling out a form, calling us, or having a free consultation does not create an attorney-client relationship.
The information on our website is general. It is not legal advice for your situation. Immigration law changes often, so please talk with a lawyer before you act on anything you read here.
We keep what you tell us in a consultation confidential, as the law requires. But until you sign a fee agreement, we are not tracking your deadlines or acting for you. If you face a deadline, act on it or contact a lawyer right away.
Once you hire us, your fee agreement sets the terms of our legal work. It covers the services we provide, our fees, how you pay, and how either of us can end the representation.
These terms cover only how you use our website and portal. If these terms and your fee agreement ever differ, your fee agreement controls.
We create portal accounts for our clients and for people who are part of a client's case. To use the portal, you must:
You are responsible for what happens under your account. A parent or legal guardian handles any portal tasks for a child.
We may pause or close an account to protect you, our clients, or our systems. If we do, we will tell you why, unless the law or a security need prevents it.
You agree that we can give you documents and records electronically, through the portal or by email. You also agree that signing a document online counts the same as signing it on paper. California and federal law allow this.
Your rights:
Some government forms must be signed by hand. We will tell you when a form needs your handwritten signature.
Email and portal messages. We send case updates, reminders, and document requests by email and through the portal. For your safety, please upload sensitive documents through the portal instead of sending them by email.
Text messages. When you sign your fee agreement, you agree that we may text you about your case and appointments. We send marketing texts only if you agree to them separately, and you never have to agree to marketing texts to hire us. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Calls. We may record intake calls and other calls as needed. We will tell you before we record a call.
Your fee agreement sets your fees and payment schedule. When you pay online, our payment processors, Stripe and LawPay, handle your card or bank details. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
Government filing fees are separate from our fees, unless your fee agreement says otherwise. If a payment fails, we will contact you to arrange another way to pay.
Please use our website and portal only for lawful purposes and only for your own case or a case you are part of. You agree not to:
If you misuse the website or portal, we may limit or close your access.
Our content. The text, design, logos, and articles on our website belong to Brudner Law. You may read, print, and share them for personal use. Please do not copy them for commercial use without our written permission.
Your content. You own the documents and information you give us. You allow us to use them only to provide our legal services, as our Privacy Policy describes. Please upload only documents you have the right to share.
Our website links to other sites, such as USCIS and other government agencies. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Please read their own terms and privacy policies.
We work to keep our website accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise it is always complete or current. Client reviews and past results describe other people's cases. Every case is different, and past results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
We work to keep the website and portal running, but they may sometimes be down for maintenance or because of problems outside our control. If the portal is down and you have an urgent matter, call us at (714) 794-9366.
This section covers only the website and portal as technology. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as internet outages, power failures, or problems with your own device. We are also not responsible for how you use general information from our website before you hire us.
What this section never limits. Nothing in these terms limits our professional duties to you as your lawyers, or our responsibility for our legal work. California's rules for lawyers do not allow us to limit that in advance, and we would not want to. This section also does not limit any rights the law does not allow us to limit.
You can close your portal account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account ends your access to the portal. It does not end our representation, which your fee agreement covers, and it does not delete your case file unless you also ask us to.
Our Privacy Policy explains how to get a copy of your file, how long we keep records, and how to ask us to delete your data.
Talk to us first. If you have a problem with our website or portal, please contact us. Most issues can be solved quickly.
Fee disputes. If you disagree with our fees, you have the right to ask for arbitration through a State Bar of California fee arbitration program. This right comes from California's Mandatory Fee Arbitration Act. It is your choice, and if you ask for it, we must take part.
Other disputes. California law governs these terms. Any dispute about these terms will be handled in the courts of Orange County, California. If your fee agreement has its own rules for disputes, those rules control.
We review these terms at least once a year. We follow the same process as our Privacy Policy.
For major changes:
For minor changes, such as fixing typos or updating our phone number, we update this page and the "last updated" date. Minor changes never reduce your rights.
You can ask us for any earlier version of these terms.
